My apologies for not having posted in so long! Alot has been happening in my life and I have not been able to tend to my blog or my jewelry. I've decided I am going to close up my blog. I will close it when my last EC ad runs which will be on 9/8/09.

Blue Jasper Beads Necklace

I've been a tad lazy in posting lately mostly due to my being sidetracked with still not having found a job! I'm not sure how often I'll post because I truly need to dedicate myself to getting back into the workforce. Things are horribly bad out there and I'm hearing of people a year or more of unemployment still not finding a job. Today is my 5th month with being unemployed and it seems the job market is getting worse instead of better. Anyway, that's my main focus right now so my apologies if I don't post as often as I had prior.

Dyed Blue Jasper Dangle Earrings

Here are one of my latest pairs of earrings that I've made. They're made with Dyed Blue Jasper, Clear Blue Czech Glass Beads, and I handcrafted the earring wires. If you're a regular reader of my blog then you've noticed the badge I have at the bottom for Spirit Jump.
For those of you not familiar with Spirit Jump, then click here to see the blog and read all about it. Spirit Jump is a great new charity that was created by Meaghan of "I Kicked Cancer's @ss". You can check out Meaghan's blog here. The purpose of Spirit Jump is to help people with cancer by sending them either a nice little gift, or something as simple as a card or letter. Anything that will help lift their spirits. Those that give are known as "Spirit Jumpers" and the receivers are "Spirit Jumpees".
I am a Spirit Jumper and have been very happy and blessed to have lifted the spirits of jumpees. I highly recommend you guys hop on board too, seriously, it's a wonderful way to help.
